Transfer Primer

This is a water-based, white primer that is used for transition from oil-based paint to water-based paint. Used for water-based satin paint applications over old surfaces painted with solvent-based satin paint. It enables the new water-based paint film to adhere firmly to the old solvent-based paint film. Can also be applied on old water-based paints. It enables the top water-based satin paint coat to be more covering.

Surface Preparation&Application
The surface should be prepared by sanding the old surfaces with synthetic paint and the primer should be applied as a single coat.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
Thin with water by 10%.
Coverage Area
10 m²/L on single coat.
Drying Time
Depends on the old surface. If the old surface was painted with a water-based paint, the primer dries in 6 hours, and if it was painted with a solvent-based paint, the primer dries in 24 hours.
Recommended Application Tools
Roller and brush.
