Rapid Extra Paint

Styrene modified alkyd resin-based, fast drying, gloss industrial paint. It is used for painting any kind of machinery components; farming, household and garden appliances; tractors, trailers, transformer, auto-radiator components, barrels, valves, steel cupboards and tables. Adheres perfectly to metal surfaces.

Surface Preparation&Application
Surfaces must be free of any loose materials that could reduce adherence. Sandblast all metal surfaces ideally at Sa2 ½ degree and apply an industrial primer or rapid primer within 6 hours. After the primer dries (2 hours), the finishing coat should be applied. The surface’s temperature should be minimum 10℃. Should not be applied near dew point or on wet, moist surfaces.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
May be thinned by 20-30% with POLI-HRM THINNER.
Coverage Area
Approximately 12-14 m²/kg (dry film thickness of 25-30 microns). In application with paint spraying gun, 10-12 m² can be painted with 1 kg of paint (dry film thickness of 25-30 microns). In application with spray gun, spatter loss may occur. Application amount may vary depending on the color.
Drying Time
At 20°C, dust dry after 20-30 minutes, touch-dry after 2-3 hours and hard-dry after 24 hours. The chemical drying process completes in minimum 5 days.
