Hipox Anti-corrosive Primer

Two-component, reaction-drying, epoxy resin-based and polyamide hardener cured, high solid epoxy anti-corrosive protective primer, forming a stable base for paints, with high sealing power, excellent adhesion and levelling.

Surface Preparation&Application
Application surfaces must be cleaned of any kind of materials that will diminish the adherence. Metal surfaces must be grit-blasted to at least Sa2 ½, as the ideal method, and then primed with HIPOX Anti-corrosive Primer in 6 hours. Blend 5,66-part HIPOX Anticorrosive Primer to 1-part HIPOX Anticorrosive Primer Hardener and then wait for 5-10 minutes. Depending on the application surface and ambient temperature, thinning with Epoxy Thinner by 10-15% ratio is convenient.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
5,66-part HIPOX Anticorrosive Primer to 1-part HIPOX Anticorrosive Primer Hardener is blended by weight. 10-15% Epoxy Thinner can be used for thinning.
Coverage Area
1 kg blend covers 3-4 m² (1 L covers 5-6 m²) area with 125 micron dry film thickness.
