For new surfaces: New surfaces must be clean of grease and dirt and then sanded before being painted. Metal surfaces must be sandblasted to a minimum degree of Sa21/2 and then, primed with kiln primer within 6 hours. Start finishing coat application after the primer dries completely. Lightly sand after applying the primer coat. Allow to rest for a minimum 15 minutes before being kilned. It is recommended you keep in the kiln at 120ºC for 30 minutes. After mixing with thinner in the specified ratios, allow to rest for approximately 10-15 minutes for flash-off before application. Surface temperature must be a minimum of 10°C. Application at the condensation point of water (2-5°C) must be avoided.
